Start at 7 Out of the city on the way to Scarna where we joined the original route again. We passed Strove, Abbadia a Isola (Abbey) On the way we already could see several times Monteriggioni high on a mountain. 11.30 begin of the climb to the village and 12.00 we were upstairs. Entering gate and thick walls around the village. Many, many tourists and a church Chiesa di Santa Maria. After lunch we checked in to the hostel and later we made a little round through the village and a short walk on the walls. Stamp at the Tourist Office and a little souvenir. At 19.00 we had a very good dinner in a beautiful garden and this restaurant had its own pasta factory.
