7-8 Wednesday. Lucca - Altopascio

Awake 05.30 No breakfast Start at 6.           At once I mistook the way ! Coffee in a bar. Again many iron crosses. We passed Lapannori, Turchetto and the archeologic works at the Annet near Pozzeveri.               At noon I arrived at Altopascio and Anne 30 minutes after. We got a beautiful stamp and got a complete free sleeping place at Ospitale dei Pellegrino. It was a little old town with a very high tower: Torre Campanaria At 13.00 we had a good lunch and after that we showered and washed. Then we had a look at the church and the village and at 7 we had a very good and very cheap Italian buffet. In the bedroom it was stil 29 degrees and the tower was beautiful lightened.                         Today 22 km Total 447
