6-8 Tuesday. Valpromaro - Lucca

Awake 05.30 Good Breakfast. Out of the village and at once a steep climbing. Piazzona  with the very old chapel Michel Angelo (I left a beautiful brown message there) On the way many iron crosses of the Passion. We passed San Macario and the river Sérchio (almost dry) I lost the way so I entered Lucca along the car way. At 11 I was in the center of Lucca and Anne arrived 1hour later. In Lucca there are 27 churches ! In the big Duomo we got a nice stamp and at 13.30 we had a lovely lunch. After that we visited Torre delle Öre and Torre Guinigi and also the Roman Amphitheatre. At 15.00 we found our sleepingplace and it was ok. After the shower we went to the birthhouse of Puccini that is now a interesting museum. At 19.30 we had an excellent pelgrims Dinner in the town and then it was sleepingtime again.                                             Today 20 km Total 425
